Wanda is a powerful mare that has proven her abilities in the show pen. She competed in both open and non-pro scoring in the top 10 in every event. She was set to be a solid open-caliber horse for the derby, however, during training, she suffered an injury to her extensor tendon which required surgery and ultimately ended her show career but not her contribution to the sport.

Wanda is now used for light riding by kids and adults around the ranch and breeding the next generation of competitors.  Her foals have been highly sought after with her first foal selling at the 2016 NRHA Legacy Sale for $20,000. Her previous owners bred her for their own ranch and cow program.

We were lucky enough to purchase her for our reining broodmare program last year after leasing her for a breeding to our stallion.  She is a calm, sweet mare that passes on her sound mind, correct conformation, size, and ability to compete at all levels to her offspring.
