It is with great sorrow I tell you that we lost this extraordinary mare on June 30, 2024.

Pretty Vintage Jewel passed due to colic while on site in Oklahoma getting bred. Temperatures there exceeded 100 degrees for multiple days and they did all they could but unfortunately they were unable to save her.

Roxi was here only for a short 9 years and gave us one foal. She was my wife’s show horse and was trained by Fred Berschauer in Reining and Ranch Horse. We pulled her from the show ring last year to breed. Cal was her only colt and he is an amazing one at that who will definitely carry on her legacy.

Roxi was quirky but sweet there wasn’t a person she met she didn’t like or a scratch she wouldn’t take! She had the kindest eyes and gave her heart to you when she showed, she loved it. She turned heads every where she went. We always got compliments on her and people would make their way over just to see her. She was beautiful to watch move in the ring and in the pasture. She had such grace and natural athleticism.

We will miss her. Run free dear girl, run free.

We look forward to watching Forty Five Pistol “Cal” carry on his mom’s legacy.
