We acquired Birdie in the fall of 2022 bred to Shooting For Chics. Birdie is a finished reining and reined cow horse.  She was shown in the 2008 NRHA Futurity, 2008 Mid America Equine Sales Reining Futurity, 2009 NCRHA Futurity, AQHA shows, and NRCHA shows.  She has shown in NRHA and NRCHA open, non-pro, and youth events making her an extremely versatile athlete that can compete in any environment.

Her abilities come as no surprise given her powerful bloodlines. Both her top and bottom give outstanding mare power to any stallion she is paired with.  Her sire is the late Inwhizable an earner of $57,000+ and who has sired over $425,000 in NRHA events. and $76,750 in NRCHA events.

Her dam is Dry Sugar Rose, an NRHA earner of over $104,000, 1998 Congress Reining Futurity Open tie for 1st, 1998 NRHA Futurity Open Tie for 3rd, and producer of 11 money earners out of 12 foals.  Her highest money earner Megas Sugar Baby also produced the champion and the reserve champion at the 2019 $100,000 Open Shootout at the Run for a Million. There is no doubt that Birdie has the blood of champions running through her, which she inherently will pass on to her foals.

She has one of the sweetest personalities and is the first to the gate for all visitors. She loves attention from the adults but she especially loves kids.  She has proven to be an exceptional mom and has given her 2023 colt Got Air aka Jordan the same warm personality as she has along with the amazing athleticism that is just natural and a wonder to watch.
